OKI Printing Solutions introduces new value added resellers program to drive its business in Jordan
Amman-Jordan, 27th November 2008 - OKI Printing Solutions, the leader in the global colour printing market, announced in collaboration with its channel partner in Jordan MABCO, a new program targeting value added resellers (VAR). The program aims at helping VAR to improve their skills and services to drive margins.
The announcement took place during the CEO conference held at Grand Hyatt Amman. Both OKI's Levant sales manager Eyad Ateiah, and MABCO's executive manager, Majid Alaeddin addressed an audience of high executives from top 20 VARs in Jordan.
The past couple of years have seen major development in the IT sector as result of the government's clear vision to maintain Jordan's position as a technology leader. There are more than 1,200 IT companies in Jordan and collectively they serve an IT sector worth around US$250m a year.*
Through OKI's new VAR program, resellers will be receiving training sessions on new products carried out by MABCO and OKI on a regular basis. "With the current development in the market resellers started to realise their need to be on top of the market and always updated with the latest technology providing the best services to their customers." said Majid Alaeddin, executive manager, MABCO, "Resellers have come to realise that profit comes not from merely selling boxes but from understanding the market's technology, providing professional after sale services, technical support and maintaining a good relationship with their customers." He added, "OKI new VAR program comes as part of its commitment to constantly provide all the support channels and resellers need to improve their business and hence drive sales."
Resellers will receive free technical support which will include free delivery, installation and training on all purchased products, free consumables delivery at resellers or customer site, 24/7 technical phone support and regular technical training on OKI technologies for the technical team. Moreover the resellers will have access to full marketing support from MABCO which includes, regular products, price promotions and demonstration units for their point of sales and materials such as flyers, stands, banners ...etc.
