Dubai: Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd has officially announced the appointment of Guy Olivier Bambule as Local Managing Director of Lombard Odier’s Representative Office in Dubai under the supervision of the Central Bank of the UAE. With over a decade of experience with Swiss and international financial institutions, Mr. Bambule will assume the responsibility for the operations in the UAE of Lombard Odier’s Representative Office based in Dubai.
“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Bambule to Lombard Odier in our Dubai Representative Office. At Lombard Odier, we continue to build a talented team committed to client service and excellence.” said Arnaud Leclercq, Partner Holding Privé and Head of New Markets at Lombard Odier. “The UAE is a key market for Lombard Odier, and we are confident that Mr. Bambule will continue driving growth in the Emirates.”
The UAE is one of Lombard Odier’s fastest-growing business regions, doubling in size and winning seven prestigious industry awards in the past seven years. The bank continues to witness increased demand from UAE clients.
“I am very pleased to be joining Lombard Odier. I have always admired the values and commitment the firm has, and it is an honour to be part of such a distinguished organisation,” said Mr. Bambule. “The region has shown our bank great loyalty, and I look forward to continuing to deliver our award-winning services and driving the growth of our business in the UAE.”
This announcement follows the recent appointment of Christophe Lalandre to Senior Executive Officer at Bank Lombard Odier & Co, Abu Dhabi Global Market Branch. Mr. Lalandre recently moved into his new role following Lombard Odier’s new branch opening in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) earlier this year. He carries a wealth of experience and unique insight from more than two decades covering the region, which is a key advantage as the bank embarks on this exciting new phase for the business. Mr. Lalandre will be responsible for the strategy and business growth in the United Arab Emirates.
The new ADGM branch complements Lombard Odier’s award-winning representative office in Dubai, and further builds on the bank’s twelve-year presence in the UAE.
