A yet recent achievement for the National Commercial Bank (NCB) that assures its banking leadership was when two big specialized financial institutions; EuroMoney and CPI Financial "The Banker Middle East", named NCB as the "Best Bank in KSA" and "Best Commercial Bank in KSA" respectively.
The criteria included the strong financial performance, record results in both growth and expansion, in addition to its high performance standards and qualitative achievements.Saeed Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, the CEO of NCB, highlighted that the two awards reflect the Bank's strong financial position as well as its local and regional leadership. It also increases our customers' confidence in the Bank and its employees, since NCB believes that competitiveness and high professionalism constitute the main push to improve the banking services and products.
Faisal Al-Ayyoubi, Head of Marketing & Communication at NCB, received the EuroMoney Award in the EuroMoney Award Ceremony - Dubai 2015 with the attendance of many prominent financial institutions.
The two awards, which add to the NCB portfolio of awards, reflect the NCB high net worth, its ability to maintain of its credit rating (A+) by Standard & Poor's and Fitch, strong financial position in the Saudi banking sector, high liquidity levels and quality credit portfolio.
The Bank continued its local and international expansion, achieved its ever-largest profit, enhanced its leading position through various initiatives, improved its IT infrastructure, and developed its human capital by improving the work environment, increasing staff efficiency, and attracting best talents.
To increase its customers' accessibility to services 24/7, the NCB opened new branches to reach 344 branches by end of April 2014, and QuickPay centers to reach 98 centers. In addition, a new batch of ATM machines was launched to reach 2,816 devices, and the number of point of sale devices reached 32,414 throughout the Kingdom.
