National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), part of Senaat Abu Dhabi, organized a HSE Day attended by NPCC management, employees and clients - ADNOC and ARAMCO. The event was organized at a purpose built facility in NPCC’s Mussafah Yard, and over 7000 employees attended the event.

Mr Ahmed Al Dhaheri, CEO of NPCC, addressed the employees and said “On this annual HSE Day, we have gathered, to recognize, reward and celebrate NPCC’s safety culture and performance. I want to thank you for excellent HSE performance and meeting our HSE targets for 2017, which would not have been possible without your hard work and diligence. We at NPCC believe in creating a safe working environment for all our employees and seeking an excellent HSE performance from them in return. HSE is very important to NPCC, and is part of everything that we do. We also believe in continuous improvement, hence we need to continuously improve our safety performance, year after year. 2017 was an excellent year and we plan to raise the bar higher in 2018 and focus on 100% HSE.”

He mentioned that NPCC’s excellent HSE performance is also reflected in IPLOCA study, which rates NPCC’s performance better than its peers. He congratulated the team for achieving 40 Million Safe Man Hours for Umm Lulu 2 project, and meeting all other HSE metrics for the project.

He also congratulated and awarded the NPCC HSE Champions for their commitment to HSE, and then to demonstrate his commitment to HSE, signed new NPCC HSE Charter.
