Muscat, Oman, 21 May 2012 - Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre, two of Muscat's leading shopping malls operated by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, a leading developer of shopping malls together with hotels and ‎mixed-use community ‎projects in the Middle East and North Africa, have announced changes to its Management Team.  Husam Mohamed Al Mandhari is the Senior Mall Manager for Muscat City Centre and Watfa Humaid Al Harthy is the Senior Mall Manager for Qurum City Centre. Husam and Watfa, both Omani nationals, will draw upon their retail, sales, marketing and mall management experience to drive the continued growth of their respective malls.

As Senior Mall Manager for Muscat City Centre, Husam will be overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of the mall, ensuring the mall continues to deliver high standards across all areas of operation including retail management, marketing, customer service and security. Previously, Husam was with Qurum City Centre joining in 2009, first as Operations Manager and later assuming the role of Senior Mall Manager. With over 10 years of combined experience in engineering, government organizations and retail, Husam is a significant contributor to the local community and will be an asset to the Muscat City Centre team.

Watfa Al Harthy will take the lead as Senior Mall Manager for Qurum City Centre. Watfa was previously the Associate Mall Manager for Muscat City Centre and the Manager of Mall Promotions & Media (MPM) for both malls. She joined Majid Al Futtaim Properties in 2007 in Marketing, before progressing her career in MPM Management. At Qurum City Centre, Watfa is responsible for the general management of the shopping mall, ensuring that it remains the community's leading choice in variety, offer and convenience. Watfa brings 10 years' experience in retail management, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service and her well-rounded background and result-oriented approach will be an asset to the Qurum City Centre Team.

Muscat City Centre, first opened in October, 2001, is the biggest and most dominant mall in Oman and recently underwent a 16-month RO 22.5 million expansion project.
