A new Arab Advisors' survey of Saudi Arabia's Internet users' media consumption habits covered details on the media consumption patterns in the Kingdom. The survey revealed that 61.6% of TV viewers in Saudi Arabia watch Western movies, while 55.4% watch news programs and 48.8% watch Arabic movies. 78.2% of TV viewers in Saudi Arabia change their TV viewing habits during Ramadan.

A new Arab Advisors Media Survey of Saudi Arabia's Internet users provides insights into the media consumption habits in regular months as well as in the Holy month of Ramadan, in addition to newspapers and books reading habits.

The survey showed that TV viewers in the Saudi Arabia can't get enough of movies content, as 70.4% and 45.8% of respondents who watch TV wanted more Western movies and Arabic movies (respectively) on TV.

The new major online survey in Saudi Arabia was concluded by the Arab Advisors Group in January 2011. The survey report, Saudi Arabia Media Survey of Internet Users 2011 was released on January 30, 2011 and provides the results of a major comprehensive online survey of the online community in Saudi Arabia. The survey covered television, radio, newspaper and book reading habits and the most effective type of ads. The report "Saudi Arabia Media Survey of Internet Users 2011" has 80 pages and 119 exhibits.

Respondents were randomly targeted by receiving an email shot in their inbox utilizing multiple reputable mailing-list operators in Saudi Arabia. The survey results encompass answers from 773 respondents that passed rigorous quality control checks. Quality control was conducted by Arab Advisors Group's team. The survey was conducted on the general Internet population in Saudi Arabia including both genders and all ages up to 65 years old. The online survey yields a confidence level of 99% with a margin of error of less than 5%.
