MUSCAT, Oman, 15 March 2011 - More than one million shoppers enjoyed savings and festivities at Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre during the recently-concluded Muscat Festival.  The Sultanate's two leading shopping destinations saw unprecedented discounts from its retail partners as well as family entertainment and cultural opportunities.

At Qurum City Centre, almost half of participating stores took part in a sidewalk sale, while more than 80 stores at Muscat City Centre celebrated the Festival with family entertainment ranging from a popular Aladdin show through to a folkloric Dabkah dance performance.

"Muscat Festival 2011 provided an energetic start to the New Year and our fantastic savings as well as light-hearted entertainment - such as our National Geographicexhibition, 'From China to Arabia" - made Qurum City Centre one of the must-visit destinations during the month-long initiative," said Hassan Jaboub, Mall Manager of Qurum City Centre.
