United Arab Emirates , Dubai: In presence of his excellency Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman assistant undersecretary for Health Centers and Dr. Aisha Souhail Director of Primary Health Care Department, health care centers and clinics under MOH organizes a two days creative lab to develop health centers and clinics sector services in creative, innovative, and developed ways. Besides health centers managers and 70 employees from health centers and clinics will participate in the workshops to discuss ways to develop clinics and health centers in the ministry.
The workshop aims to engage different parties from different work sectors to contribute in the creative thoughts to find active solutions can develop the health centers and clinics.
The workshop will focus on developing the managing and supervising ways through planning to improve services and develop the work styles to avoid all obstacles that affect the work.
For the brainstorming workshop, Dr. Mohammad Al Alma said: "such workshops, which depend on brainstorming, will promote and increase the efficiency of workers in different health sectors which will benefit the health sector as a whole"
All discussions will focus on two fundamental points: Prevention and Health promotion -Primary health care and development.
For the prevention and Health promotion, the discussions will focus on how to improve diseases prevention. For Primary health care and development the focus will be on non- communicable diseases on how to engage the efforts to fight those kinds of issues.
There are many points that will be discussed in the workshop about the ways to promote health centers services provided to patients, and how to increase patients awareness about treatments provided by those health centers so we can increase health services level in creative ways, Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman undersecretary assistant for Health Centers said.
On other hand, the discussion will cover everything related with prevention and health promotion beside how to support centralization vs decentralization to reach perfect results, and it will look for general health promotion ways to be principle for the followed policies in the future.
For development of primary healthcare, many basic points will be discussed like how to ensure that patients will follow their treatments plans, in addition to prepare plans to improve and develop family medicine concept and how to develop healthy school programs.
On the other hand, mental health will be under the spot light, how to improve it, develop it and how to promote the mental health service to reach five stars.
One of the important things is to promote awareness on family medicine and how to support various such programs in schools related with it.
We hope to reach creative results to be considered as brainstorming results conducted by 70 employees in the ministry specialized in health services.
