As part of the entertainment line-up, the stage area of the Modhesh Fun City showcases a number of musical shows and plays, associated with the Spacetoon channel, that are on show daily.
These shows were chosen to combine education and entertainment and to encourage the children to be a part of it, learn something from them and come out feeling happy and informed.
Laila Al Jassim, Modhesh Fun City, Manager, "The Modhesh Stage hosts number of plays and shows that attract a lot of kids and encourage them to visit the stage area regularly. These shows are aimed at filling the children with a desire for adventure. Some of the plays and shows that attract a lot of attention, include Popeye the Sailor Man, Fulla and Seven Dwarves, Spacetoon characters show, Pink Panther etc."
Yahya Al Kafri, Head of the Spacetoon Stage section "The Spacetoon Channel and DSS office have selected those plays where music and drama create an interactive experience in learning and adventure for children from different age groups. Each play has an educational message which will enhance the child's behaviour and personality. Additionally the children will be able to interact with the characters."
Each play has been themed on clear goals and objectives that will suit Arabic traditions and culture. Each Spacetoon show at the Modhesh Fun City lasts for two weeks. During the last two weeks, all the plays will be repeated.
The Pink Panther Shows are being staged everyday, which will continue till July 14, 2004. There will be two shows - between 5.15pm and 6.15pm while the second show will be from 9pm to 10pm. From July 15 to 28, the Fulla and the Seven Dwarves will be staged.
