London (23 June 2011):  Once more the Ministry of Water & Electricity Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Hussayen from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has confirmed  that "Given the significance of this major international Forum for Saudi Arabia's power and water sectors" he will support Saudi Water & Power Forum again this year. The event will be held in Jeddah, on the 4-6 December 2011. Following last year declaration by the Ministry on the industry's future ("It is expected that the funding requirements for the expansion in the water and power industries will exceed 500 billion Saudi Riyals ($130 billion) over the next 10 years"), Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Hussayen states that this year the Forum will "address the key issues facing the industry. We will look at how to push the boundaries and add value through innovation and cooperation, and how the sector can support the transformation to a knowledge-based economy". The programme will focus on opportunities for partnership and growth for local and internationals.
