New leisure destination expands Meydan's portfolio to offer first-of-its-kind beachside and dining experience
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 22nd August 2012 - Meydan has announced the launch of Meydan Beach, its highly anticipated beachside experience located in the Dubai Marina District. The only stand-alone beach facility of its kind in Dubai, Meydan Beach houses two stunning infinity pools, a chillout lounge, boutique spa and gym and grooming facilities, all set along Dubai's pristine coastline. Meydan Beach will also play host to renowned Milanese restaurant Giannino, the first venture for the brand outside of Milan.
Alongside Meydan City and Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, the opening of the beach facility expands Meydan's leisure portfolio to include three diverse offerings - city, desert and beach.

Committed to providing the finest guest experience, Meydan has partnered with a leading global brand for its food and beverage offering at the new property. Milan-based restaurant 'Giannino', one of Italy's most established restaurants, will make its first venture out of Italy as the signature restaurant at Meydan Beach. Founded in 1899, Giannino has a strong heritage and rich history and has hosted countless members of European royalty and international celebrities over the years.
Commenting on the partnership with Giannino, Saeed H Al Tayer said: "When creating our signature restaurant at Meydan Beach we wanted to offer exemplary cuisine and world-leading standards, therefore Giannino was our number one choice.
