New website caters to a wide Pan Arab audience

Dubai, 26th April 2012:

Catering to its wide Pan Arab audience, the long awaited and official Arabic language WWE website has now gone live! Following the strategic partnership between WWE and MBC Group that was announced during a press conference last February at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, in the presence of some of the WWE Superstars, MBC Group seized the opportunity to Arabize one of the most viewed worldwide websites and cater to its regional audience needs. The URL for the new Arabic website is arabia.wwe.com.

The Arabic website includes content from the WWE's main website www.wwe.com such as the latest videos, images and news updates, in addition to exclusive local language content and competitions tailor-made specifically for the region.

WWE is very popular in this region and a great portion of the global audience stems out of the Middle East alone. MBC's decision to develop a website that is catered exclusively to the audience in this region, communicating to them in their own language, comes as a result of the incredible popularity of WWE amongst MBC's audience.

It is also worth mentioning that MBC Action, the action-packed channel targeting young Arabic males, part of MBC Group, airs all the latest WWE action including WWE Raw, WWE Afterburn and WWE Superstars.
