Dubai, April 27, 2010 - LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in mobile communications, announced today the launch of the LG X200, a stylish, 10.1-inch netbook with an irresistibly clean slim design. Powered by Intel's latest Atom processor, the Pine Trail-M, the LG X200 also comes with an upgradeable 2GB DDR2 memory and a Windows 7 Starter Edition, making it an absolute pleasure for users.
With a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the LG X200 includes full High Definition (HD) LCD display. The resulting picture is strikingly clean and crisp, setting new standards in netbook graphics.

Going way beyond the functional, the LG X200's clean, slim design is a fashion statement in itself. Adorning a lightweight chassis - just 1.24 kg with a four-cell battery and 1.34 kg with a six-cell battery - the netbook's dazzling white exterior, with silver, orange and lime trim, blends with any style and promises to be as enticing to the young and hip as it is to computer lovers. With its isolated, pebble-style keyboard, the LG X200 is also light and comfortable to the touch; and its screen, with virtually no bezel, maximizes the viewing area, letting users cut back on scrolling when they're surfing the Web.
In its Smart Pack, LG's smartest software suite, the LG X200 also includes such user-friendly features as Smart POP, which lets users reply directly to SMS messages via Bluetooth, and Smart On, which offers five-second booting to frequently used Web pages and seamless access to e-mail and social networking sites.
What's more, the LG X200 includes a range of useful features such as a built-in webcam for conferencing or video chatting with friends, and an SRS TruSurround HD sound for richer audio. A four- or six-cell battery enables half-day or all day use on the road.
The company will roll out the LG X200 across the UAE from May, 2010 for AED 1999
