27 March 2007 - Kuwait Finance House recently impressed its investors by holding a conference at the breath-taking setting of Durrat Al Bahrain.  Emerging from the crystal clear waters off the southern tip of the island Kingdom of Bahrain, with an area of 20 square kilometers, Durrat Al Bahrain is Bahrain's largest planned mixed use residential, leisure and tourist destination.

70 VIP guests were invited by Kuwait Finance House ("KFH") to Durrat Al Bahrain to attend a conference on the latest developments of its private equity fund focused on investment opportunities in New Zealand and Australia.  The investors included delegates from around the GCC region.

The General Manager of KFH, Abdullhakeem Al Khayyat, gave a welcoming speech in which he spoke of the stunning setting of the conference.  KFH's investors were not only updated on their investments, but also had the opportunity to tour the Durrat Al Bahrain site and were all impressed by the project's ambition, the beauty of its setting and design as well as the progress that has been made in recent months.

Mr. Jassim Ahmed Al Jowder, Chief Executive Officer, Durrat Al Bahrain, said, "We're delighted that investors from around the region have been able to enjoy their conference in the stunning setting of Durrat Al Bahrain.  The promise of Durrat Al Bahrain is being seen by more and more people from around the region and the world."

Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain Company, which is equally owned by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain, develops the Durrat Al Bahrain Project. The Project is developed on 20 square kilometers and includes beaches and seafronts.  Upon completion, the Project will be equivalent to the area of Manama, capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
