The Information Technology Association of Jordan-int@j in cooperation with Integrated Standard Solution (ISS) and with support from the National Fund for Enterprise Support (NAFES) launched the Salary Scale Survey and Jobs Evaluation for the ICT sector in Jordan in March 2010.
The survey aims at defining methods for evaluating accurate jobs in the IT and Telecom industry considering all related factors, and setting accurate results for salary scale in the ICT sector in Jordan, in addition to ranking and classifying ICT jobs in the sector.
A sample of 30 companies was surveyed in order to achieve the overall objectives of the study, companies have been selected from representative companies from the ICT sector including different levels and sizes, and have been segmented based on business type in IT, Telecom, and IT enabled services (Outsourcing).
The survey covers job categorization, leveling, classifications, evaluation, salaries, furthermore, the surveyed data was analyzed to formulate specific job titles, categories and levels in the sector.
int@j, is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry-support association, founded in 2000 with the aim to improve the dynamics of Jordan's ICT market and develop the Kingdom's ICT related activities, and includes more than 175 local and global companies working in IT, Telecom, and IT enabled services (Outsourcing).
