Dubai: The International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) announced today the launch of the Arabic version of its website in collaboration with its corporate partner, Wisdom House Cultural Industry Group Co., Ltd. – China. The objective of the new website is to boost the audience of distance education and further promote the development of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) capabilities of Teachers in Arabic-speaking regions. It is also a response to the expectations and needs of partner universities in the Arab world and the regional offices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Since its launch, IIOE has introduced three language versions including Chinese, English, and French. Arabic is the official language of 18 Arab countries. The number of native Arabic speakers exceeds 260 million, and the number of users of the language worldwide exceeds 440 million. As a professional service platform for the Arabic language to the world, Wisdom House Cultural Industry Group Co., Ltd, provides a full range of services and technical support for the Arabic version of the IIOE website, relying on its advantages of language, talent, and resources.

The Arabic website is the fourth language version of IIOE, which aims to offer further distance education solutions for Arabic-speaking regions and help improve teachers' ICT capabilities in higher education institutions. In addition, it establishes a blended learning and online learning training platform to increase students' opportunities of obtaining high-quality education. At the same time, the website will be more in line with users' search habits in Arabic-speaking regions; making IIOE even easier to use.

The website will feature four key sections: "Home", "Courses", "Training" and "Network". To coincide with launch of the Arabic website, there will be 5 courses introduced including “Mind Mapping and Application”, “Education Data Collection” and more in addition to 5 other high-quality courses to improve the skills of Arabic language teachers, as well as the IIOE Training Certificate for Big Data (General Level) in Arabic. By completing the training content required, you will be eligible to apply for a training certificate issued by UNESCO.

Courses for improving Arabic teachers

IIOE always takes it as its mission to help partner institutions in developing countries enhance their capabilities and increase the opportunities for institutional learners to obtain high-quality higher education. As of November 2021, IIOE has signed 20 Asian-African partner colleges and universities, empowering 8162 students, covering 135 countries and regions. With the promotion of the Arabic version website, IIOE will provide distance education resources and services for users in more languages. The IIOE Arabic version website will always be dedicated to helping institutions in the Arabic-speaking regions improve their ability and environment to conduct online and blended teaching, creating an ecosystem of online blended learning, and realize the modernization of colleges and universities.
