Océ, global leader in printing and graphic art solutions to showcase digital printing innovations at the expo, dubbed as the Olympic games of print and media industry

Dubai -  Heliozid Océ Emirates, the UAE sales & service wing of Heliozid Oce, a joint venture between Océ N.V. of Netherlands, a global leader in production printing and a world-class innovator in graphic arts and Heliozid of Lebanon, today announced participating at drupa 2008, the leading global expo for print and media industry in Düsseldorf from 29 May to 11 June 2008.

With its dual presence at the event - a 1,300 m² stand in PrintCity in hall 6, and in the drupa innovation parc in hall 7 - Océ will showcase an impressive display of solutions for digital book production, personalization, promotional printing in color, and technical document printing.

With this year's drupa promising to be the biggest-ever in the event's more than 50-year history,  visitors to the world's leading fair for the print media industry can expect to see inspired concepts from Océ for enriching documents with Color on Demand, personalization and TransPromo opportunities, as well as solutions to raise efficiency and productivity in graphic arts and technical documentation environments. With live production and application demos in four keynote segments, Océ is forging beyond-the-ordinary paths to add value and drive growth for customers.

Océ will be showcasing new top-of-the-line printing technology during DRUPA 2008 including the  groundbreaking high speed Océ JetStream color inkjet printing system. Distinguished by Océ DigiDot technology, the new series redefines productivity and quality standards for ultra high volume, full-color production printing. The heavy duty cycle handles well over 60 million impressions per month.

Océ  will unveil an addition to its Océ VarioStream® 9000 Series: Océ VarioStream 9710 - the fastest toner-based B/W duplex printing system. The latest Océ VarioStream model boosts print productivity by up to 80 per cent. It looks set to be a highly popular solution in every arena - chiefly in transactional printing of B/W invoices, account statements and direct mail, but also in graphic arts applications. Océ VarioStreamâ 8000, which offers a new level of flexibility and speed  is yet another product on display. The new series offers an unmatched combination of print width, Océ CustomToneä color, MICR printing, new controller power, upgradability and output choices, such as duplex Twin and Triplex configurations. Key applications for the Océ VarioStream 8000 are traditional transaction statements, as well as new TransPromo documents.

The company said drupa 2008 will also be the platform for the  worldwide debut of the Océ ColorStream® 10000 continuous feed, full-color digital press. Developed specifically for the Graphic Arts market, the new Océ ColorStream 10000 press delivers full-prOcéss color with the quality levels required to meet virtually every color requirement. Demonstrating Océ digital color leadership, the 168 A4 images per minute, Océ ColorStream 10000 press can power through over five million full-color images a month. The toner-based Océ ColorStream 10000 is designed to deliver the high quality color that Graphic Arts professionals expect.

On display will also be new Océ PRISMA software enhancements  which brings color and advanced production support to transaction and graphic arts environments with high-uptime options, even better integration and interoperability. The new Océ JetStreamä, Océ ColorStreamâ 10000 and Océ VarioStreamâ 8000 families are complemented by the leading-edge capabilities of Océ PRISMA workflow software.
