Dubai, UAE - Design Hotels’ first property in the region, Form Hotel Dubai's strong design narrative brings new vibrancy to the Culture Village and adds a differentiated voice to the city's hospitality scene.
Designed by Paris-based Architecture Studio, the 136-room property won the Urban Hotel category at the AHEAD MEA 2018 hospitality awards and was also named New Concept of the Year.
Form Hotel interrupts Dubai's skyline with a sharp, stark white facade that's only punctuated by irregularly sized acoustically sensitive floor-to-ceiling windows.
Inside, there's a sharp, tightly curated visual experience and an instant sense of continuity. There's a lot of white, picking up from where the pure white facade left but now its perfectly punctuated with marble, brass, walnut wood and few other colors designed to exude welcoming warmth.
As you step into the lobby, the unique seamlessness between spaces stand out. The restaurant and lobby are separated by a screen of wooden slats rather than walls, encouraging guests to move freely between spaces and not feel enclosed within a particular area.
Everything you lay your eyes on here are custom-made. The brushed brass knobs. The polished art frames. The glistening marble countertops. The delightedly detailed bespoke furniture. The guest room furniture. The custom-crafted art and photography by Nina Dietzel.
