Abu Dhabi - Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi held an inspiring talk titled "A Sustainable Tomorrow Through the Eyes of the Green Sheikh". The talk was given by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Environmental Advisor to the Government of Ajman, known as "Green Sheikh".

The event is part of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabis Go Green 2023 initiative and aims to raise awareness about environmental topics and foster a culture of sustainable living among the universitys students, faculty, and staff while promoting environmental awareness, knowledge, and research in support of the region's sustainable development.

During the discussion, Sheikh Abdul Aziz shared his philosophy and ideas and offered engaging insights and creative solutions that would enable us all to respect and preserve our planet and its people. Furthermore, he highlighted his commitment to this cause, while encouraging us all to join him in his mission of creating a future where everyone can thrive without compromising the needs of current and future generations.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Environmental Advisor to the Government of Ajman, commented: Ensuring that every person has the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling, happy life, without compromising the needs of current and future generations should be of top priority. It is a call for action, to rethink the way we live our lives and to make sustainable choices and practices. It is a reminder that we all have a part to play in creating a sustainable future, and that by working together, we can achieve great things”.
