Abu Dhabi-based real estate investment and development company Eagle Hills Jordan recently announced the resignation of CEO Alaa Batayneh and the appointment of Douglas Small as the companys new CEO.

Douglas Small, a seasoned leader of numerous internationally recognised developments, will officially join the Eagle Hills Jordan team as CEO on July 4. Douglas has a wealth of experience in managing large-scale development projects. With a background in architecture, design and construction, his previous projects include Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, Meydan City at Bu Kadra, a development of 132 high-rise plots, and Meydan Business Park Phase 1 in Dubai as Head of Projects at Meydan LLC, a position that he occupied from 2007 to the current year. Prior to his work with Meydan LLC, Small worked at a number of firms, such as NORR Group Consultants International Ltd., Turner Construction International, and Tamouh.

In July, Douglas Small will officially be handed over the position of CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan, where he will use his extensive experience and knowledge of real estate to not only ensure the continuation of but also increase the exponential progress that the company is witnessing on its four projects in the Kingdom, including its developments in the coastal city of Aqaba, Saraya Aqaba and Marsa Zayeds Al Raha Village, and in the capital of Amman, W Amman and The Skyline Residences serviced by W Amman and The St. Regis Amman and The Residences at The St. Regis Amman. As a knowledgeable authority with new insights into highly acclaimed projects around the world, the company proudly welcomes the leadership of Small as its new CEO.

Alaa Batayneh, theprevious CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan, served in his position for two years, beginning his work with the company mid-2015. In his tenure as CEO, many key project milestones were reached, including the beginning of handover of residential units at Marsa Zayeds Al Raha Village, completion of several components within Saraya Aqabaand opening of a new sales centre for all of Eagle Hills Jordans projects in the Kingdomin Ammans new downtown of Abdali, in addition to expedited progress on the companys newest development, the first W-branded hotel in the Kingdom, W Amman, and The Skyline Residences serviced by W Amman.
