MoU signed with academy expected to be opened within 18 months

Dubai, UAE, September 23 2012: Dubai Properties Group, a member of Dubai Holding, has announced that it has signed a MoU to open a GEMS Cambridge International School at The Villa in DUBAILAND. This welcome addition to The Villa development is part of DPGs ongoing strategy to enhance community facilities at many of its residential developments throughout Dubai, and is expected to open in the next 18 months.

With phase 1 almost fully occupied, and phase 2 handed over early last year, The Villa has become a vibrant family orientated residential community. The GEMS Cambridge International School at The Villa is expected to accommodate approximately 3,000 students from the ages of 3 to 18. The 31624m2 school will include a 600 seat performance space/ exhibition/ examination hall, music classrooms, extensive sports facilities, a science discovery zone and campus-wide wireless, amongst other facilities.
