Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized its second "Chamber Services Briefing" at its branch in Jebel Ali today (Wednesday). This biannual initiative aims at informing Dubai's business community about the chamber's services and facilities in addition to highlighting the role played by the chamber in creating a favorable business environment and supporting the development of business in Dubai.
As part of its mission in representing, supporting and protecting the interests of the business community in Dubai, the Chamber works towards enhancing communication and facilitating networking among its local and regional stakeholders and the Chamber Services Briefing is another step in that direction.
Aiming to raise awareness of the Chamber's services, the briefing session provided Dubai Chamber members and non-members with the opportunity to fully understand the Chamber's services and how to use them effectively in facilitating the smooth flow of their business.
The Chamber's team of senior officials presented first-hand information on the variety of value-added services to the attendees and also met them individually regarding their personal queries about the services and how to access them in addition to highlighting the benefits of membership.
The attendees were able to meet Dubai Chamber management team that included Mahdi Al Mazim, Director, Membership and Documentation Services Department; Hassan Al Hashemi, Director, External Relations; Jehad Kazim, Director, Legal Services and Omar Khan, Director, Customer Service Centers.
HE Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber pointed out in his welcome speech that Dubai Chamber operates three branches and three representative offices that spread all across the Emirate and emphasized the chamber's commitment to extend all the possible facilities and support to the business community and new investors looking for setting up new direct businesses and joint ventures in Dubai.
Buamim added that Dubai Chamber website has become an indispensible source of information for businesses in Dubai, and stressed that the e-services provided by the Chamber through its website www.dubaichamber.ae are proving valuable in assisting business conduct their activities.
The services provided by the Chamber includes issuing of certificates of origin, authentication of various types of commercial documents, provision of economic research and studies as well as publication of economic bulletins, arbitration and commercial disputes resolution, credit services, business advice as well as hosting business delegations and conducting training workshops and seminars.
