Dubai, United Arab Emirates - January 30, 2012: The Ideas.Arabia Subgroup of Dubai Quality Group (DQG) organised a seminar on Suggestions Management System at DQG headquarters on Tuesday.

The seminar that discussed the Idea Management System in depth, was attended by a large number of employees from various companies and bodies, including the Ministry of Economy, Dubai Municipality, Emirates Transport, Dubai Aluminium (Dubal), Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Juma Al Majid Group, and Dubai Customs.

The presentation covered a set of vital issues, including the Impact of the Global Credit Crunch, Challenges the Business People Facing Today, Ideaship and Leadership, Idea Management, Source of Ideas, Focusing Strategies, Critical Thinking, and Idea Campaigns.

The presentation was given by Dr. Rashid Al-Leem, Director General of Sharjah Department of Seaports and Customs and Sharjah Free Zones Authorities (Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority).

Dr. Al-Leem is a widely considered visionary and thought leader in business, socio-economic, academic and cultural endeavours for companies, organisations and individuals. He believes that true excellence can only be achieved through sustainability by aligning commercial, social and environmental objectives.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Feryal Tawakul, the Chair of Ideas.Arabia Subgroup, said, "The seminar is of great importance for the business world and proves to be a strong platform for the economic and professional successes."

Dr. Al-Leem is a board member of several bodies, such as the World Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Sharjah Charity International, Sharjah Medical Zone, American Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates, German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce, and World Trade Development Council in Hong Kong, besides being an honorary lecturer in numerous local and international universities, including the American University of Sharjah.
