Dubai – Dentons has been awarded "Best Law Firm" for Oman, Jordan and Kuwait at the 10th annual emeafinance Middle East Banking Awards 2017 presented in Dubai on 28 February.
The awards highlight the best commercial, Islamic, investment and private banks across the Middle East, as well as brokers, asset managers and law firms.
Dentons has a long standing presence in Oman for over 36 years and in Jordan for 10 years, working in association with Safwan Moubaydeen Law Firm. The Firm has been active in the Kuwait market for decades having acted on some of the country's landmark transactions in recent years, including the Warba Bank inaugural Tier 1 Sukuk issuance and advising Boubyan Bank on the worlds first public fully Basel III-compliant Tier 1 Sukuk which was also the first ever public Sukuk from a Kuwait bank. Dentons' banking and finance expertise is represented in the multitude of awards won in recent years for deals in those markets.
