Deerfields Mall launches fit fest and invites Abu Dhabi to get healthy and active

• Deerfields Mall are getting the community active from 28^th October to 27^th November
• The Abu Dhabi community is invited to join in a host of free daily fitness challenges, events, and competitions with instant prizes worth up to 60,000 to be won

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi’s Deerfields Mall invites the community to get fit, healthy, and active for winter as they launch a month-long Fit Fest from 28^th October to 27^th November.

Mall visitors of all ages can participate in free daily fitness classes and challenges   in partnership with industry experts, giving complimentary access to HIIT classes, zumba, Les Mills and yoga sessions, while attendees can also avail free health and wellness checks with medical consultants. There is also an opportunity for fitness fans to win instant competitions and weekly raffle prizes worth up to AED 60,000.

We encourage everyone, regardless of where they are in their wellness journey, to explore the diverse range of complementary indoor, outdoor, group and ladies only  activities designed to get our community healthy and active as we head into winter.”

The festival sets off to a running start with an obstacle course race warm-up event in association with Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Desert Shield Fitness, the first obstacle course racing sports community of its kind in the UAE, at 6pm on Monday, 1^st November. Interested visitors can stay tuned for more events like this across the entire month.  

Meanwhile, a series of mixed group fitness training sessions include HIIT, Les Mills, Grit and Body Combat, Zumba, yoga and kids’ activities will be held throughout the festival between 6pm and 8pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Ladies will be invited to train hard at exclusive women’s only sessions operated by UAE JJ Fitness Center on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10am to 11am, and 7pm to 8pm, inclusive of access to indoor cycling classes.

Back by popular demand is the ongoing Yalla Let’s Walk; an initiative launched during the pandemic to get Abu Dhabi residents moving and increase their step count. The indoor walking track is open to all age groups and abilities and is located on Deerfields Mall level 4 floor, Cinema Atrium.

Burjeel Medical Centre will be offering complimentary health check-ups, providing critical advice for anyone who is embarking on a fitness regime. Qualified medical practitioners will examine both blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and will also consult visitors on how to reach their lifestyle and diet goals. What’s more, a fun instant dart game at this station will give customers the chance to win goody bags from Burjeel if they successfully hit the health targets displayed.

In addition, Dr. Nutrition will be providing complimentary BMI checks and nutrition consultations to advise customers on how diet and healthy eating contributes to a successful fitness regime.

Mall visitors will be introduced to the Japanese hydrogen water, Aquela. This innovative solution injects a record-breaking eight parts per milliliter of pure hydrogen gas into water, providing a multitude of health and wellness benefits.
