Middle East: Eon Dental, a leading dental technology company that specializes in the design and production of unique and patient-friendly clear aligners, officially launched ‘The Certification Course’ by Eon Aligner on November 11th in Amman, Jordan with 50 doctors in attendance. The overwhelmingly positive reception will see Eon Aligner continue The Certification Course for the foreseeable future with each course taking place regularly in various cities across the MENA region. As part of Eon’s mandate to enhance the global dental sector, the initiative came on the heels of its inaugural Over-The-Shoulder (OTS) training sessions in September and October.

The Certification Course was a full-day experience which enabled doctors to become familiar with clear aligner fundamentals and workflows. Throughout the dynamic in-person event, doctors were engaged via a live hands-on experience that was conducted to expand their capabilities and expertise. Orthodontists learned, practiced, and connected with elite users and Eon teams through training initiatives such as an interactive six-module course that walked them through Clear Aligner Therapy (CAT) essentials, as well as, comprehensive insights from start to finish, from both a clinical and commercial standpoint. All participating doctors completed the course and were granted certification to provide Eon aligners in their respective clinics.

Furthermore, doctors were introduced to Eon Aligner’s case management platform, Eon Access. First introduced in 2012, Eon Access is a digital management platform that offers doctors better control over their clear aligner cases. The web-based software platform has demonstrated proven success by being accessible to providers, anytime and anywhere, to facilitate reliable, fast, and seamless patient care. Clinicians benefit from Eon Access’ integration of several features including hybrid treatments, guided treatment setups, a detailed table of movements, and higher-resolution 3D teeth models to create highly customized treatment plans for their patients[1].
