Clyde & Co's offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have received the 2014 International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology "Client Choice Award" for the UAE. The win marks the third time the firm has won the award.
Launched in 2005, the ILO Client Choice awards recognise law firms and individual partners across the globe that stand apart for excellence in client care and quality of service.
The winners are selected via an independent research survey of more than 2,000 senior corporate counsel, while the criteria of the awards focus on law firms' ability to 'add real value to their clients' business above and beyond the other players in the market'.
Clyde & Co Employment partner Sara Khoja was also singled out in the results, as one of only five individual award winners in the UAE for excellence in a particular field of expertise.
The ILO Client Choice award is the latest in a string of regional accolades for Clyde & Co's Middle East operations. In 2013, Clyde & Co was the most awarded firm of any jurisdiction in the annual "ASIAN-MENA COUNSEL Representing Corporate Asia & Middle East" survey, winning 14 expertise categories, and being named the 'Most Responsive International Firm' in the UAE for the fourth year running. The survey also recognised two Clyde & Co partners as 'External Counsel of the Year': Dispute resolution partner Nassif BouMalhab, and Abdulaziz Al-Bosaily, Managing Partner of the firm's operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). In 2012 Clyde & Co again received the ILO Client Choice Award for the UAE.
