Country's premier fire prevention supplier to equip new accommodation developments
Doha, Qatar, June 26th, 2011: International Gulf Trading Company (IGTC)- Chubb Fire Qatar, the country's leading provider of fire safety equipment and prevention, has been selected as the preferred supplier of complete fire prevention and alarm systems for two brand new accommodation developments for Al Shamal Municipality on the northern tip of the country.
In March of this year Jabor Ali Al-Nuaimi, the Director of Al Shamal Municipality (ASM), announced a raft of new public projects - over 30 in number - designed to massively enhance the region in terms of services and infrastructure. One of these projects is of course the Al Shamal Stadium, the proposed 45,000-seat arena that will be constructed ahead of the 2022 World Cup; slightly more basic but no less important is the project to which Chubb Fire will provide safety and security solutions - the construction of a pair of accommodation blocks to address the increased demand for housing as the region experiences population expansion.
Chubb Fire Qatar then is to install fire alarm and protection services to the two developments, from the ground up and including all the required amenities expected of a top-tier fire safety system. In addition to the installation itself, Chubb Fire is also contracted to maintain the system on an indefinite basis.
Rami Batrawi, General Manager of IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar commented, "There are some exciting things happening up in Al Shamal - there is more to Qatar than just Doha - and Chubb Fire is delighted to be involved in one of the biggest projects currently underway at the north of the country.
"Al Shamal is looking for the best in all regards as it develops the Municipality for the future and it's very encouraging that they have picked IGTC-Chubb Fire for their fire prevention needs. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the Municipality which, we hope, will be beneficial for both parties and the region at large," he added.
