Exciting games, competitions and entertainment events to reach out to children and their families.

Summer vacations can tend to be one endless phase of boredom for many.  However, Dubai Boys Scout Mission, can convert the summer vacations into a period of hectic excitement  with the activities and events that they organize at the BurJuman Center, in association with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. Yesterday, the Scouts saw a huge crowd  join in the fun and games at their own special section.

Jasim Farid, a member of the Ice Surprises Committee said, "Dubai Scouts continuously tour the Dubai Summer Surprises events, in order to encourage children of all ages groups whether resident or visitor to participate. The Scouts organize certain events that are appealing to all members of  the family irrespective of age group or nationality."

For instance, the 'Melt the Ice' competition is a speed test of four contesters trying to melt individual blocks of ice in less than two minutes.

A competition which assesses the speed of the contesters in setting up an electricity circuit has also been lined up as part of the activities.

Music fills the air as one of the events that has been organized by the Dubai Scouts  is the 'Identify the music notes" competition where a note will be played and the contestant will be asked to identify what it was.

Additionally, DEWA has arranged to give away more than 100 valuable prizes to the winners of the competitions.
