Muscat: Buraimi Industrial Estate, in collaboration with Al Buraimi University College and the University of Buraimi, will organise next Saturday a forum titled "Investment and Supporting Youth Projects". The forum, which will be held at Al Buraimi University College under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Buraimi, will be accompanied by Omani Products Expo.
The forum will present eight papers delivered by Al Buraimi Industrial Estate, the Directorate General of Small and Medium Enterprises at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Oman Development Bank, Sharakah Fund for Development of Youth Projects, Industrial Innovation Center at PEIE, Al Buraimi University College, University of Al Buraimi, and a presentation on one of the successful companies incubated by The Knowledge Mine (TKM) at Knowledge Oasis Muscat.
The forum seeks to highlight the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Buraimi Industrial Estate), its objectives, and services and facilities provided to the investors. It also aspires to underline methods to attract youth to set up successful projects and highlight the role played by colleges, universities and research centers in industrial and entrepreneurship development. The event will also emphasise the importance to strengthen and activate the role of Omani youth to take advantage of various services and facilities provided by the institutions to establish fruitful projects. It will also determine the various industries existing in Al Buraimi Industrial Estate.
Managed and supervised by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), Al Buraimi Industrial Estate enjoys a strategic commercial position on the border with UAE. The estate is close to the border town of Al Ain in the UAE. It is also at an excellent distance from Dubai Port and Sohar Port.
