Amman - 05 July 2009: In its continuous quest to further expand the services offered to its students, Bell Amman, one of Luminus Group members, recently signed an agreement with the British Council Jordan to become an authorized testing center for the International English Language Testing System certification (IELTS).

By signing this agreement, Bell Amman will be able to provide its students with the opportunity to register and sit for the IELTS test at the centre upon the completion of the IELTS test preparations.  The test will take place at the premises of Bell Amman under the full supervision of the British Council Jordan.

Mrs. Rula Kawar, Managing Director of Bell Amman, commented: "At Bell Amman, we design and deliver our services in a way that is coherent with Bell Educational Trust's main goals, stressing on the importance of developing effective language centers, allowing students to feel at ease in a comfortable and comprehensive learning environment.

"This expansion will help our students experience a unique learning path, in which they can take their courses, prepare for the exams and apply for their tests all under one roof saving time and effort." Mrs. Kawar added.

Mrs. Ameera Manaa', Examination Manager at the British Council, said: "Bell Amman is relatively young in the Kingdom, yet it managed to become a very well reputed center in a short time, with high tech premises and state of the art facilities allowing its students to capitalize on their time spent".

Bell Amman is affiliated with Bell International that helps over 100,000 students, from more than 120 countries to learn English through one of its 41 worldwide teaching centres and e-channels.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS), the world's proven English language test, was one of the pioneers of four skills English language testing over 20 years ago, and continues to set the standard for English language testing today.

IELTS is jointly managed by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) through more than 500 locations in 120 countries.
