BDO Jawad Habib yesterday organised a seminar on the latest developments of International Financial Reporting Standards. More than fifty finance professionals representing different business and industrial sectors in Bahrain attended the seminar, which was held in the Hawar Ballroom in Al Dana Resort, Novotel in Manama.
The aim of the presentation was to update the audience to the changes occurring in some fourteen Standards and provide an overview of other work being currently being undertaken by the International Accounting Standards Board. BDO Jawad Habib recently conducted a similar presentation in for its employees.
The seminar was presented by partner Rory Adamson, previously a member of the British Bankers Association’s sub committee on US GAAP, and technical manager Sameer Parekh.
