Areeba sal was granted by Mastercard, the pioneer in payment solutions, the “Special Recognition for Driving a Cashless World” award during the MENA Acquirer Forum 2017” that took place at Anantara The Palm, Dubai, UAE on November 21-22, 2017.
This yearly forum brings acquiring leaders from the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region and gives them the opportunity to explore new innovations and to exchange views, information and insights. The conference also hosted an award ceremony to recognize initiatives across three key categories with the primary objective of cash displacement using safe, secure and convenient methods of payment. The three categories are: best performance in e-commerce, most innovative solution deployed for cash displacement, best government or B2B payment solution.
The “Special Recognition for Driving a Cashless World” award was granted to areeba for its efforts to enhance the payment infrastructure in the Lebanese Market by developing innovative acceptance products and working on different initiatives that will allow driving the economy to a cashless environment.
