Dubai, UAE, 21 June 2009: Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, has appointed Ramzi Fawaz as Senior Manager, Human Resources, Middle East and Africa.
In this position, Fawaz will work closely with the Amadeus' Commercial Organisations' General Managers, Market Management and Business Solutions Management teams and provide them with operational and strategic HR support.

Fawaz joins Amadeus from Impact BBDO Group, a multinational communication consultancy agency where he held the position of Group Human Resources Manager. Fawaz's professional experience also includes a successful international stint as Human Resources Manager in Toronto, Canada with Magna International, a leading multinational automotive supplier.
Born in Lebanon and raised in Canada, Fawaz holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management from University of Montreal. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
