Beirut - Alfa, the mobile operator, announces its sponsorship of the 30th Rally of Lebanon, taking place from November 9 until 11, 2007.
Alfa shares common goals with one of the fastest and most exciting motor sport on the planet: dynamism and excellence. Therefore Alfa is keen to assist and sponsor the ATCL rally championship with high tech solutions thereby elevating the organization of the rally to international standards.
Alfa is providing each rally car with monitoring solutions through GPRS technology. This solution enables the organizers to trace every vehicle with real-time high accuracy, hence assuring contestants' safety.
Organized by the ATCL club, the official representative of FIA in Lebanon, the Rally of Lebanon has attracted top quality local and international participants since its beginning in 1952.
This year, the 30th edition of the Rally of Lebanon covers a 957km long itinerary throughout all Lebanese territories.
