MUSCAT - Al Naba Equipment & Supplies, a subsidiary of the well-diversified Omani business house Al Naba Group, has unveiled an innovative piece of equipment with potentially enormous application in the local catering and food service industry.
The Belgian-made Beldos Mini-Fill Touch is an ingenious device that enables chefs, caterers, bakeries and other food service professionals to dispense fillings and servings precisely, speedily and efficiently.
This delightful machine, along with its Belgian inventor Mr. Rudy Van der Linden, recently took centre stage at an exclusive presentation hosted by Al Naba Equipment & Supplies at the Al Maha Hotel in Ghubrah. In attendance were senior executives and professionals representing many of the leading players in the Sultanate's fast expanding catering and food service sector.
A marvel of sorts, the Mini-Fill Touch has fired the imagination of chefs and catering professionals across the Western world. This compact and affordable machine has been sold extensively in more than 20 countries, including the key markets of Germany, France, Holland, Russia and Australia.
At the presentation, Mr. Van der Linden took the attendees through his invention's amazing features. The Mini-Fill, he explained, is a multipurpose portable machine designed for precise portion control, injection, layering or decorative functions. Operating a simple touch screen, Rudy demonstrated its remarkable functionality in dispensing, serving, injecting or infilling a wide variety of food items, including custard, blueberry topping, creams for croissants, and Indian-style liquid desserts as well.
"The Mini-Fill is a flexible, custom-made and economic solution with wide application in bakeries, catering setups, hotels, restaurants, fast food outlets, schools, hospitals and the food industry in general. It can dispense or serve an extensive choice of liquid, semi-liquid, semi-heavy and aerated products. The range includes batters, fruit fillings, jams, jellies, creams, honey, yogurt, sauces, ketchup, mayonnaise, and so on," Mr. Van der Linden, who is also General Director of Beldos, commented.
