Abu Dhabi - Al Ghazal Transport, Abu Dhabi's pioneering transportation company and ADNH (Abu Dhabi National Hotels) subsidiary announced today that it has signed on as a sponsor for the Abu Dhabi Sheraton Open Squash Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Abu Dhabi Sheraton Resort & Towers on 22-23 June 2007.
Nael Al Faqih, Sales and Marketing Manager of Al Ghazal Transport, said, "Squash has emerged as one of the most popular sports and attracts a number of UAE nationals and residents alike. Our sponsorship of this major tournament is in line with Al Ghazal's commitment to support sports and social activities in the UAE".
"Over the recent past, Al Ghazal Transport has associated with various events in the UAE capital and played a supporting role to the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority in promoting the emirate", he added.
Recently, Al Ghazal organized the Al Ghazal Transport Golf Cup which was held at the Al Ghazal Golf Club. The company also sponsored the International Road Safety Week, which was held in Abu Dhabi last month.
