Dubai - Al Futtaim ACE, the leading home improvement and outdoor brand, has launched an environment-friendly fresh festive tree-recycling program called Tree-Cycle.
With the Tree-Cycle program, real festive trees can be dropped off at ACE between January 2 to 16 to be converted into compost, free of charge.
The trees will be recycled to turn them into a bag of compost. The only condition to take advantage of ACE’s tree-cycle program is to ensure you drop off clean & undecorated real festive trees.
Visitors can redeem a 10% voucher on garden and outdoor products when they head to select ACE stores to collect their bag of compost. The compost can be upcycled as plant fertilizer.
ACE’s Tree-Cycle program is a collaboration with Y.E.S (Your Environmental Savings) Full Circle. It is an international, tech-based, climate change, and
circular economy platform that supports people and organizations to
become global sustainability champions. Y.E.S Full Circle offers recycling and waste collection and equipment, cleansing services, processing and equipment, bins, biodegradable cutlery and packing.
Real festive trees can be dropped off at ACE’s stores in Dubai Festival City, YAS Mall, Abu Dhabi and its new branch at Dubai Festival Plaza. Perfect for festive shopping and home and outdoor upgrades, ACE at Dubai Festival Plaza features an extensive collection of 15,000 products including tools, electronics, paint, flooring, car essentials, pet supplies, along with seasonal specials.
Some benefits of ACE’s Tree-Cycle program include reduced organic waste sent to landfills, minimizing greenhouse gases, a curb on littering, and using compost as a nutrient-rich plant fertilizer.
