In its endeavor towards ongoing engagement with the Government’s technological initiatives, Ajman Bank has become among the First Banks in the UAE to successfully integrate with the UAE PASS authentication services on its Ajman Bank Mobile App.
With this integration, Ajman Bank Mobile App users can now benefit from the instant authentication feature of the UAE PASS to access the Mobile App. Ajman Bank will also soon extend the use of UAE PASS to digitize other banking services thereby making the process paperless and digital.
Making the announcement, Mr. Mohamed Amiri, Chief Executive Officer, Ajman Bank, said, “We are proud to be among the First banks in the UAE to integrate the UAE PASS into our mobile banking to digitally authenticate customers. Ajman Bank has always been keen on supporting government initiatives as such partnerships are essential to drive the UAE’s ambitions forward, in line with directives of our wise leadership.”
Mr. Salem Al Shamsi, Chief Operating Officer, Ajman Bank, stated, “This initiative aligns perfectly with our vision of ‘Digitalization’. Ajman Bank has been actively driving digital transformation and investing in state-of-the-art technology to provide customers with the best banking experience. We are keen to extend the use of UAE PASS to digitize other banking services to enable our customers to enjoy the full benefit of this solution.”
Launched at the GITEX Technology Week Exhibition 2018, UAE PASS is a national joint initiative between the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority and Smart Dubai, which aims to provide quick and easy digital access to government and non-government services.
The UAE PASS provides a secure single digital identity that allows the user to access services for both local and federal systems across the UAE, which in turn addressed several challenges in government operations, such as the absence of a digital signature mechanism and the multiplicity of login information to services’ platforms.
The UAE PASS is the first secure national digital identity for all citizens and residents, granting them secure access to smart services from various sectors in the UAE and from the convenience of their smartphones, in addition to enabling them to digitally and remotely sign documents. The UAE Central Bank adopted the initiative in September 2019, allowing all customers to accelerate the process of opening an account remotely, without needing to physically go to the bank. To apply for a UAE PASS, users must download the app, scan their Emirates ID and visit a registration kiosk to scan their fingerprints.
Which documents will I need?

Can I do it online?
