AFRIQIYAH AIRWAYS is proud to announce the commencement of its 4 weekly flights Tripoli-Dubai-Tripoli effective 23rd September 2008. These flights will be operated on a brand new Airbus A319 aircraft which the company took delivery of on 8th September 2008. The airline will fly non stop on this route and the cabin configuration consists of 16 seats on Business class and 96 seats on Economy class with the latest in Inflight Entertainment. The Afriqiyah Airways cabins are designed with comfortable seats in both classes with interior lighting backed by warm and efficient service of the well trained cabin crew.
AFRIQIYAH AIRWAYS commenced its operations in December 2001 and has a network which encompasses 16 cities in West and Central Africa with Dubai being its newest destination. AFRIQIYAH is the Arabic word for African and the modern all jet fleet is painted in the striking colours of red, green, orange and black reflecting the colours of Africa.
The present schedule from Tripoli-Dubai-Tripoli is as follows-
Sunday and Wednesday- All Times local
Departure Tripoli 0900 hours and arrive into Dubai at 1615 hours
Departure Dubai 1715 hours and arrive into Tripoli at 2115 hours
Tuesday and Friday-All times local
Departure Tripoli 0500 hours and arrive into Dubai at 1215 hours
Departure Dubai 1315 hours and arrive into Tripoli at 1715 hours
AFRIQIYAH AIRWAYS has appointed Sharaf Travel as their General sales agent in the United Arab Emirates and looks forward to the dawn of a new era with the commencement of direct non stop services between Tripoli-Dubai-Tripoli.
