Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, has announced its participation in GITEX Technology Week (GITEX 2019). The company, acquired by SAMI, will showcase its innovative high-end products and solutions at the region’s leading annual technology event, which takes place from 6 - 10 October in Dubai, UAE.
Hosted at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), GITEX attracts over 100,000 visitors and 4,500 exhibitors from more than 140 countries around the world. The five-day event offers an unparalleled platform to highlight applications for AEC’s groundbreaking cybersecurity, e-services, e-Health, and smart solutions in areas such as airports, buildings, and mosques. These will be exhibited at the company’s booth in DWTC’s Sheikh Saeed Hall at stand number S1-B1.
AEC will be announcing key agreements and new strategic partnerships during its 16th participation at the event, further strengthening its position as a key enabler of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey. The company will also explore fresh opportunities for collaboration as it seeks to drive forward the objectives outlined in Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s ambitious roadmap for the future.
Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President and CEO of AEC, said: “As the Middle East’s largest annual gathering for the technology industry, GITEX provides an outstanding opportunity to exhibit the benefits of our cutting-edge systems and solutions to a receptive global audience. By enabling us to connect with potential partners and customers, our participation in events of this magnitude represents an important component of AEC’s long-term growth strategy and further underlines our commitment to playing a central role in Saudi Arabia’s ongoing digital transformation, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.” “GITEX is the biggest technology event of its kind in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. This year’s conference will be held under the theme ‘Synergizing the Mind and Technology Economy’ and will unite key industry stakeholders to explore fresh ways to leverage the synergies between emerging technologies and humanity” added Al-Duailej.
According to a 2018 report from International Data Corporation (IDC), AEC is currently ranked second among the companies providing IT services in the Kingdom.
