Langley made this statement during a keynote speech he delivered in a session entitled (Achieving Great Agility to Make the Difference). He made a visual presentation highlighting several topics related to corporate agility in PM and how can this agility make a clear difference in completing projects.
Mr. Langley expressed his deep delight for taking part in the DIPMF since inception and through to the current fourth edition held under the theme: Making A Difference. He thanked HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and his immense efforts in making this great event a success.
Among the key points highlighted by Langley is that 92% CEOs say that the corporate agility of projects and organisations in a critical position whereas 27% of these CEOs say that organisations are resilient in doing their business.
He concluded to a host of key points such as that all PM methods leads to success. He noted that people and processes are key to achieving any level of agility. Agile firms make revenues higher than other entities. PMO can be a beacon in achieving greater agility and emphasis on standardizations is an enemy of agility.
