BIZERTE: "Ciments de Bizerte" and "Ciment Oum El Kelil" companies will import in the next few weeks 200 thousand tons of cement for all purpose except for aquatic and marine works in order to supply the local market which is experiencing a shortage in cement, sold in the black market at high prices.
BIZERTE: "Ciments de Bizerte" and "Ciment Oum El Kelil" companies will import in the next few weeks 200 thousand tons of cement for all purpose except for aquatic and marine works in order to supply the local market which is experiencing a shortage in cement, sold in the black market at high prices.
The company "Ciments de Bizerte" has already launched an international tender to import the quantity set.
The "Ciment de Bizerte" company, which has not been privatised like the majority of other Tunisian cement plants, produces 900 thousand tons of clinker per year.
The production of clinker is expected to reach one million 350 thousand tons after the completion of the company's expansion project to be carried out with an amount estimated at 160 million dinars.
