Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Sunday’s trading session with a decline of 0.23% or 22.43 points to 9,864.02 points.

The QSE’s turnover shrank to QAR 96.32 million on Sunday from QAR 329.25 million in the prior session after the trading volume decreased to 5.35 million shares from 8.99 million.

The telecom segment led four decliners with 1.27%, with Ooredoo Qatar heading the losers with 1.84%, followed by Vodafone with a fall of 0.44%.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped three gainers with 1.90% in line with the 2.90% rise of Ezdan, which posted the highest trading value of QAR 11.4 million.
