Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly decided to re-appoint Mohamed Farid as the Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) for a new term of four years, according to a statement on Sunday.

In August 2017, Farid was appointed as the Chairman of the EGX, succeeding Mohamed Omran.

Farid was the Deputy Chairman of the EGX between 11 July 2020 to October 2021 and worked on launching the first capped index in the Egyptian market.
