Egypt - Al Shams Housing and Urbanization (ELSH) recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 149.27 million in 2022, up from EGP 83.84 million in 2021, an increase of 78.04% year on year (YoY), according to the unaudited financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on February 2nd.

Revenues soared 74.32% last year, with revenues hitting EGP 390.28 million from EGP 223.89 million a year earlier.

Al Shams Housing is primarily focused on the purchase and lease operations of lands for the purpose of developing, managing, selling, and leasing out property and buildings, as well as offering contracting, construction, maintenance, and management services to residential, touristic, and administrative structures.
