ArabFinance: The Egyptian Ministry of Local Development will carry out 13 projects in Sharqia governorate, Mamdouh Ghorab, the governor of the city announced.

The government earmarked EGP 226 million in support of upgrading a number of internal and external roads of the city as well as establishing new axes, Ghorab elaborated.

He added that the ring road in Minya al Qamh area is one of the main roads that will be upgraded to ease traffic.

Over the past six years, Egypt spent EGP 16 billion in developing roads nationwide.
