Fish, chicken and eggs are the most popular sources of protein for Gulf News poll respondents. With one fifth of respondents saying they mainly eat fish, no wonder vendors are concerned about the number of customers coming to visit Dubai’s new Waterfront Market. According to the page A7 report, ‘Vendors find Waterfront Market pricey’, published in the Nation section of Gulf News on July 4, sellers prefer lower costs over pricy amenities.
According to a Harvard Health Publication, fish and seafood is a heart-healthy food, which they recommend that families eat at least twice a week. Eggs are a good and cheap source of protein, but they can give an elevated risk of heart disease for diabetics. People with diabetes should eat no more than three eggs a week.
