The sale of Vande Bharat Mission phase five air tickets for flights on Air India Express from UAE to India will officially open on Monday, July 27 at 4 pm, the airline announced on social media.

"Indian nationals registered with the Indian diplomatic missions can book flights at normal repatriation fares on the Air India Express website or through authorised UAE travel agents," said Air India Express through a Twitter post.

Officials at diplomatic missions in the UAE announced on Sunday that as part of phase five, over 105 repatriation flights are set to be operated from the UAE to various cities in India.

A total of 74 flights will operate from Sharjah and Dubai to various cities in India starting August 1 to August 15, said Consul Press, Information, and Culture Neeraj Agarwal.

Meanwhile, an official with the Indian Embassy in the UAE has said around 31 special flights will fly from Abu Dhabi to Indian cities between August 1 and 15 as part of Phase 5.
