Some people in Bahrain have reportedly felt tremors from an earthquake that hit southern Iran yesterday.

The tremors from the 5.7 magnitude quake that hit 10km deep in the Fars Province of Iran were also felt in other neighbouring countries.

Some took to social media to post about experiencing the aftershock, with high rise buildings in Juffair and other parts of Manama shaking.

According to reports, most people felt the tremors for between 30 seconds to a minute, but no damage has been reported.
